  CRUISE PLANNERS/SEADUCHESS CRUISERS

Cruise I have recently become a Cruise Planners Specialist, an independently owned and operated franchise of Cruise Planners/American Express, an award-winning cruise agency. Cruise Planners is a national company that has a tremendous reputation for quality, service and value. We are top producers with virtually every cruise line so I can provide you with preferential cruises, best value packages along with proven successful personalized service.

Cruising has become one of the most exciting popular and valuable forms of travel. Whether you are celebrating a milestone birthday, wedding/honeymoon, and family reunion or just want to get away with loved ones, or want to raise money on a cruise for your school, sports team or organization, I would be delighted to serve you.

OUR SERVICES for seniors and those who are blessed with the responsibilities for caring for sick loved ones will focus on “Me Moment Cruises”; to relax and pamper you. With you in mind, the primary goal is to identify a cruise ship that has lots of activities of a Pampering Nature. Toward this end, the Cruise Ship will be your Destination, instead of the ports of call. Therefore, you will not be required to leave the ship or spend any time wandering from location to location. Your goal is to Relax and Pamper yourself. Consider a facial, luxurious massage, relaxing body wraps, slimming treatments, nail salon, aromatic sauna, a new Hair Do, or maybe just Wine Tasting. You may also consider a gym or going for a swim. You can eat up a storm while dining in some of the finest specialty restaurants, as well as, the old stand -by therapy,” Shop until you Drop”!

Cruise Planners/SeaDuchess Cruisers is owned by Theresa Bramble, MS Ed. I have over 29 years of experience in healthcare in a variety of roles, including the Network Compliance Officer for over 7 years at the North Brooklyn Health Network, in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, I had successfully developed and implemented the first comprehensive corporate compliance program within the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation in conformance with the Federal mandate. I successfully trained and educated over 4,500 employees, using blended approaches to meet the needs of various degrees of learner comprehension.

I had tremendous success developing and implementing the privacy operations at the North Brooklyn Health Network in conformance with the HIPAA regulation. I successfully delineated the requirements of the privacy regulations, translated them into performance objectives, and developed appropriate policies and procedures to ensure that hospital personnel adhered to them. I further designed a variety of monitoring initiatives and designed and implemented a compliance performance assessment tool.

I also spent 22 years managing and monitoring external audit activities within the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. In this role, I developed the settlement and negotiation processes between the NYC HHC and the voluntary hospitals. I was instrumental in recovering well over $50 million for inappropriate contract expenditures by the voluntary hospitals under the affiliation contract arrangements.

Subsequent to leaving the North Brooklyn Health Network, I had a small consulting firm, Peakethicus, Inc., which provided consulting services in Regulatory Compliance and Ethics in Healthcare and Professional Sports. I became certified by New York State as a MBE/WBE in 2002.

During the late 1990’s, I was a Vice President with the National Black MBA Association - Westchester Chapter and chairperson of their Entrepreneur, Employment and Corporate Development Committees. I had over 10 years experience advocating for entrepreneurs and small business enterprises. I was the contract manager for a multitude of engagement opportunities for minority vendors. I successfully developed entrepreneurial programs to advance the interest of minority businesses and monitored vendor performance through quality reviews and performance assessments. I successfully spearheaded and designed the first, ever, performance-based certification program for minority vendors for contract opportunities in professional sports. I am a member of Rainbow Push Sports Task Force, and was instrumental in developing the strategic alliance between Rainbow Push and the National Black MBA Association. I am the owner/author of Money Smarts for NFL Rookies©, a tool developed to enhance the ability of younger athletes to manage their finances.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Planning from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Adult Education at Fordham University. I was the 1980 recipient of the Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship. More recently, I achieved recognition by Cambridge Who’s Who for 2010 and 2011.
